Ukraine Winter Grain Plantation Down 2.2 percent So Far In The Current Year

According to the latest update as of November 11, planting of winter grains 2.2% behind last year. The area planted to winter rape is already 6,5 Th ha above the official forecast and up 5.2% year-on-year.

Corn harvest slowed down to 10.3% ahead of last year, its yield is down 6.8% from last year, the forecast for harvested area was reduced by 1 Th ha. Buckwheat harvest is actually finished (67 Th ha harvested out of the total 68 Th ha), the grain crop is down 33.8% year-on-year. Millet harvest is 70.9% ahead of last year, with 18.6% higher yield than in 2018.
