Brazil Sugar Production Rises 57 percent So Far In Current Year

As per the latest official data, Brazilian sugar belt has crushed around 32.6 million tonnes of cane in the second half of October, this is almost 30% more than in the same period a year earlier.

On the basis of crushing, the sugar production reached 1.51 million tonnes, 57% higher, while ethanol output reached 2.04 billion liters, 45% more than from the previous year in same period.
